Finally! It's your senior year in high school. Or maybe it’s your son’s or daughter’s final year in high school before they head off to college. Everyone has the obligatory and boring cap and gown portrait for their high school yearbook, but it doesn't represent a senior’s individual sense of style and their personality. That's exactly what I will capture... YOU. And all while having tons of fun with it.

Ngoc and Sean broke the usual traditions with their Sam Houston Park pre-wedding photoshoot. With their family putting together a very small intimate backyard wedding later that week, they still wanted some traditional looking bride and groom photos before the wedding day. So all dressed up like they were going to the chapel, we met up at Sam Houston Park in Downtown Houston in the late afternoon for their beautiful photo session. The session took place last July, swatting swarms of mosquitoes and sweating, but you can't tell that and in the end the photos turned out great! We walked down to the Sabine Bridge over Buffalo Bayou just in time to catch some awesome neon pink clouds floating over the downtown skyline and catch the sunset.

The hardest part of shooting beautiful brides before their wedding like this one at Carriage House Bridal session in Conroe is holding onto the images until after the wedding day. I might have about burst inside trying to not share these, but! I made it! Brittany and Jeff tied the knot last weekend and while I'm still editing their wedding day photos, I can share these amazing shots in the meantime.

A Texas bluebonnet engagement session with more wildflowers and large oak trees? Yes please! I was pretty thrilled when Brittany suggested doing a session in the flowers but of course, timing is the most important thing with the 2 week flowering window. After having a weird non-winter and warm February in totally unpredictable Texas style, this day in March was freezing. It was the one day that was windy and cold the whole month but thankfully the quilt came in good use to keep them warm. The light looked amazing and the bluebonnets were really blooming in Brenham.
