Finally! It's your senior year in high school. Or maybe it’s your son’s or daughter’s final year in high school before they head off to college. Everyone has the obligatory and boring cap and gown portrait for their high school yearbook, but it doesn't represent a senior’s individual sense of style and their personality. That's exactly what I will capture... YOU. And all while having tons of fun with it.

Ngoc and Sean broke the usual traditions with their Sam Houston Park pre-wedding photoshoot. With their family putting together a very small intimate backyard wedding later that week, they still wanted some traditional looking bride and groom photos before the wedding day. So all dressed up like they were going to the chapel, we met up at Sam Houston Park in Downtown Houston in the late afternoon for their beautiful photo session. The session took place last July, swatting swarms of mosquitoes and sweating, but you can't tell that and in the end the photos turned out great! We walked down to the Sabine Bridge over Buffalo Bayou just in time to catch some awesome neon pink clouds floating over the downtown skyline and catch the sunset.

The hardest part of shooting beautiful brides before their wedding like this one at Carriage House Bridal session in Conroe is holding onto the images until after the wedding day. I might have about burst inside trying to not share these, but! I made it! Brittany and Jeff tied the knot last weekend and while I'm still editing their wedding day photos, I can share these amazing shots in the meantime.

Oh does this marriage proposal have a story behind it! It first started when I got a call the day before everything happened from Ashley's best friend who wasn't even in town. She called telling me about how her best friend's boyfriend spilled the beans to her that he had planned on proposing to Ashley on his visit to Houston. The thing was, Trevor was still driving from Tennessee to Texas for this visit. Ashley's best friend got all the details from me and had also put it out on Facebook about the need for a last minute photographer. Coincidentally enough, one of my friends had referred my name as well. Small world and the best friend decided it was meant to be for me to capture this moment!

You can't even believe you're still in Texas with this Agave Real wedding at the Spanish inspired venues at Agave Estates in Katy. Itzel and Lupe's wedding was fun filled and I couldn't get enough of the blush colors of her wedding and how it went perfectly with the colors of the venue. The bouquet from Agave Brothers (the on-site florist for the venue) was huge and Itzel's reaction to seeing it for the first time was one with her mouth wide open admiring the peonies and roses.
